Condition as obtained with coat of grease
Grease removed and taken a part to view mechanism of the drag. Note the engraving is both inside on the original plate as well as the additional plate of the drag mechanism. The owner was a Dr. Preston B. Scott. Dr. Scott was from Kentucky and died September 12, 1900 in Louisville. (AMA records)
